hello rover

well i've now spent one week at biloela state high. the drive here was uneventful, although i was starting to get concerned when i was out of mobile contact for an hour and i'd only seen one car on the road and then triple j disappeared from the car radio. i thought i might be in the middle of no where, but it all came back again when i got into town, so it's not so bad after all.
the school is small and founded in '63 i think it was. the staff look after me well which has made my time there just great. i'm liking teaching so far, which is a good sign.
next week will be harder though, i have to write lesson plans and teach some full lessons, so i've got some work to do. and now i've got a sore throat and i think i'm coming down with something, so i must rest, luckily there is a long weekend to serve that purpose well.

well friday i'm off to biloela
to learn about teaching in a real
school
looking forward to spending time
in a different way
i'm sure it will make me feel
upside down for a few weeks
should be a very scary fun ride

"when it feels like a piece doesn't
fit, you remove it and try again
somewhere else later",
said the instructor

"but i never fit anywhere",
replied the little rover
"why would i keep trying again
when i know i don't fit?"

"why indeed", she sighed,
"be it that you not fit anywhere then".
