talk

well would you believe it, it has only taken me three decades to learn how to talk properly! since i was having trouble talking loud enough to get the attention of a class of students i went and saw a speech pathologist to help me learn how to use my voice properly and safely to get volume and range out of it. and now i can! it's amazing. i can now yell with relative ease and at great volume. a very handy skill for a teacher to learn.

the moral of the story,
the ability to learn and perform a task is within each one
it just takes someone who knows the techniques
to be able to bring the ability to the surface

:) I like the pictures of your plants. I look forward to hearing you yell:) We will have to all go camping in the future sometime and we can all yell into some big canyon or something.

funny story, I quickly said to matthew "do you spell canyon C-A-N-Y-O-N?" and he said "no it's K-E-N-Y-A-N" It turns out context is very important.

i knew a kenyan guy once at school, he was really big and tall, i'm sure he would have been very annoyed if a group of people tried yelling into him ROTFL!!!!
that would be cool, will have to find a canyon somewhere.
i'll get some new pictures soon, the potatoes are getting bigger and the garlic has just sprouted. i'll try and get them in focus too, i was too close :)

We have planted garlic too, and it has poked little heads out of the soil. Our leeks are looking pretty good and we have lots of mushies sprouting:) Yay.

very cool, i'm going to try some ginger too, and onion, and i might even try some leek as well

you can buy ginger plants from the ginger factory at buderim

i never even thought of that, i was just going to plant a nice fresh root that i'd bought from the shop. maybe the ginger factory plant would be quicker to grow however.
