they make for a spectacular touch and feel public art display. there are several different balls in different sizes scattered around the free space at the bottom of a big new building.
it's nice to have tactile art.
little kids were climbing over them, they seemed a little bit like they could roll away if i had climbed on them, so i resisted.

however, it would make a great photo i'm sure.
maybe another day.

How awesome are those balls!!?? I am obsessed by such items from strainers (I have several "hanging things" made from similar items) and I'm even more obsessed by silver spheres of any kind. I'm in love with the garden. Some are calling it the "virus garden" cause the balls look a bit like viruses.

Joee.

hmmm, obsessed by shiny silver spheres. i guess everyone must have their vices in different forms:)

now that you mention the virus garden, i think it is an apt name. although perhaps the city council wouldn't want their shiny silver sphere garden to be known for that.

Very cool ball things. I'm surprised you resisted climbing on them, I bet I couldn't have.
